The Knife of the Sea

Just After Forging

May I introduce my sjø kniv, or sea knife. My wife's family is Norwegian and it was apparent to me when I held this knife and focused on its curves and lines, it seemed to reflect the Norwegian fishermen. The 'Way of the Sea'. 

This knife is longer than the others I have made. It's heavier and will serve numerous purposes throughout its lifetime.

Next I will construct the handle for it. I will use wood for this. Just seems to be appropriate.
