Forging the Cara Cosanta

I put a nice bevel on the knife today. Then as I was looking at the shape of the blade and realized I didn't like the look of it. So I modified it.

I then set up my forge and heated it up until the blade actually turned a light orange color.

I have it in my oven now for an hour at 500 degrees to temper it. Hopefully I have that nice blackened look on it like my fallout knife has.

I will post a pic when it's out of the oven, but for now here's a video of the forge and tiger torch in action.

Update: Here's what the knife looked like after the forging and oven. Nice!
