Here are some of the knives I have made already. The first is my personal favorite: The Hook-Finger. I cam up with the idea for this design while doodling and trying to think up a design that looked like a wave. Something that flowed. As a result, this knife is extremely comfortable in the hand. It actually
seems to flow.

There seems to be a natural rhythm to it.

You could almost say it's alive!

The second is what's traditionally called an Ulu. It's an Inuit skinning knife. It has a sense of history about it somehow. When I was making this knife, I almost seemed to hear the hunting party returning with their prize. The talking, laughing, children running to see the excitement...this knife will own its own history one day as I sold it to a genuine Inuit hunter. May he have much success!

The third knife is a 'Sharpfinger' knife. Similar to the Hookfinger knife, the Sharpfinger has a traditional handle. It, as well, is very comfortable and sharp. Mainly used for skinning, the Sharpfinger is very sharp and nicely balanced in the hunter's hand. I sent one of these to a friend from Texas. He should be very pleased with his knife and I hope it brings him many wonderful memories in the field.

The last design so far is a long and sharp hunting knife. Its sleek shape really speaks volumes about the necessity of having a light and sharp knife when one is trekking across the country in search of his quarry. The knife has a sturdy handle, perfectly designed for the man who needs a good grip when he is engrossed in his many responsibilities, this knife is an all around perfect knife for the hunter.

This another Hook-Finger knife I have almost completed. I altered the handle design somewhat and made it flow better. It is still quite comfortable and I decreased the angle of the blade edge to facilitate skinning. This knife was commissioned by a friend, and he will be using it for the upcoming
hunting season.

Come back often to see more of my designs and creations and some traditional ideas...you never know where inspiration and creativity might lead me.
