The Cara Cosanta Has a Handle

I cut out the scales from birch and roughed out the shape. Then I drilled the three holes I wanted. I then mixed up a generous amount of epoxy and put the whole thing together with clamps.

Now it dries. Should be dry enough to finish off tomorrow.

I am thinking about wood-burning some interesting Celtic shapes into the handle. We'll see what happens.
