Please meet Cara Cosanta
This is an interesting knife I have been thinking about for a while.
I called it Cara Cosanta, which is Gaelic for protective friend.
My mom's side of the family is Irish and my Dad's side is Scottish. We have a rich and celebrated history and I wanted this knife to reflect that.
I wanted it to have function and styling, plus I wanted it to reflect an old world look as well.
It will have a wooden handle with three holes through it. I would like to add a leather lanyard of some sort--perhaps braided?
We'll see what time tells.
