The Peacemaker Knife

I have been working on this knife for a while now, and it's to the stage where I can say it's almost done. I polished it today and got most of the fine scratches out, and tomorrow it's on to the handle.

I tempered and annealed it differently this time, as I used my new forge and then quenched it first in water then in hot oil. This really made a difference in the edge and strength of the overall blade.

I attempted to achieve a Hamon, but the substance I used didn't work as well as a clay mixture would.
