Kitchen Ulu Etched

 Here's the blade taped up ready for etching.

 I left the solution on longer this time and it really etched deep into the blade. I like how it turned out.

You can see in this close up, the blade has alot of hair line scratches. These scratches come from the metal being an old saw blade. I just couldn't get them out. They look nasty, but you can't actually feel them.

I have the handle cut out now and will sand the scales to size and then it will be epoxy time!
