Etching a Logo

I have wanted to add some sort of icon or logo to my knives in order to set them apart from anything else out there. I researched this topic extensively and found this formula worked very well.

I used a mixture of hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide and dabbed a small amount on the shape I wanted to etch. Then I touched a nail hooked to the terminal of a battery charger while the other end was attached to the blade. This caused an electrical/chemical reaction to take place that oxidized the metal. This image was drawn freehand in the shape of a hammer.
